“Take heed now; for the Lord hath chosen thee to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong and do it.” 1 Chronicles 28:10
We are currently working on the two-story medical clinic. In February, 2006, Shiloh Tabernacle brought seventeen people on a mission trip. Part of that trip was to provide medical care. On one day alone we had over 500 people come for treatment. The need is great. People here do not even have the most basic of medical supplies such as aspirin and sterile bandages. There is other construction, electrical, plumbing, and painting that needs to be completed. Besides this we need to supply the vocational schools with sewing machines and materials, computers, and instructional materials.
We thank you for your continued support and we are praising God for His faithfulness!
The first floor of the building hosts the new medical clinic, the library, and one classroom for the Bible school. We currently provide basic laboratory services and minor medical treatment. The clinic is currently open as funds allow. This is only once or twice a month at this time. We are trusting God for the funds to provide daily care. If God touches you as you read through this we welcome you to be a part of the work that God is doing here. The needed areas of support are for funds, for materials, and for volunteer staff. Doctors and nurses are especially needed. Please contact Bishop Opicho for more information: jopicho@yahoo.com
God has given us a vision for a three-story complex which will accommodate a Sanctuary to seat over 1,500, a Bible School, Christian Library, Medical Clinic, Music School, and Vocational School. The project is progressing but there is still much that needs to be done.
